💰 Ways to make money
Marketplaces are one of the most profitable businesses online because other people do the selling. GigHarbor gives you every income stream at once:
A commission on every single order
Set one commission rate for the whole marketplace and a different one per category. Every time a buyer orders a gig, your cut is taken automatically. Sellers do the work, you collect.
Listing fees from every new service
Charge sellers a one-time fee each time they add a service. More sellers means more services, and every new listing pays you before a single order comes in.
Paid highlights and boosts
Sell Highlight, Featured, Top Seller badge and Top of category placements, each with your own price and duration. Sellers compete for the top spots and keep paying to stay there.
Recurring income from repeat buyers
Solo ads, traffic and SEO are bought again and again. Every repeat order earns you another commission without you lifting a finger.
Stripe Connect payouts on autopilot
Each payment splits automatically: the seller gets paid and your commission lands in your account. No spreadsheets and no chasing money.
Or hold the money with manual balances
Prefer to control the cash? Collect every payment, let sellers build a balance and request withdrawals, then mark them paid when you are ready.
Orders that close themselves
Buyer-seller messaging, deliveries, revisions and auto-complete keep orders moving, so commissions keep landing while you sleep.
