Tips for getting the most from OptionKit
Group related options together, such as gift options or personalisation, and assign each group to a category so new products pick it up automatically. Use conditional fields to keep the product page short, for example only showing an engraving text box when engraving is ticked. Give priced options clear labels that include what the customer gets. Place a test order to check the options appear in the order email.

Is OptionKit really free?
Yes. The free plugin includes up to 3 active option groups with 15 fields each. Draft groups don’t count.
Does it work with the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout blocks?
Yes. It’s compatible with the blocks and with HPOS order storage.
Can customers fake a lower price?
No. Option prices are always recalculated on the server. The total on the page is only a preview.
Does it slow down my shop?
No scripts or styles load on pages without option fields, and option groups are cached.
What do I need to run it?
WordPress 6.3 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer and WooCommerce 8.0 or newer.
