Guide to installing, setting up and using Pipeline Forms 1.0.1 for WordPress.
Requirements: WordPress 6.2 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer.
pipeline-forms folder to /wp-content/plugins/).Only one Pipeline Forms plugin can be active at a time. If another one is already active, the second shows a notice and does nothing until you deactivate one of them. Forms and entries are kept.
The plugin has 12 field types: single line text, paragraph text, dropdown, multiple choice, checkboxes, numbers, hidden field, name, email, phone, website / URL and consent. Every field can be marked required and has a label, placeholder, description, default value and custom CSS classes. Number fields can have a minimum, maximum and step; text and paragraph fields a maximum length; name fields a simple or first/last format. The consent field shows a checkbox with text you write (links allowed).
On the Notification tab the form sends one email to the addresses you list (default: the site admin email) each time it is submitted. You can set the subject and message and choose an Email field as the Reply-To address so you can reply to the visitor directly. Emails are sent with WordPress's own mail function; if your host's mail is unreliable, use an SMTP plugin. Each entry shows whether the send attempt succeeded.
Merge tags you can use: {all_fields}, {form_name}, {entry_id}, {admin_email}, {site_name}, {site_url}, {date}, {ip}, {page_url} and {field:ID} (a single field by its ID). {ip} is empty if you turned off IP storage.
On the Confirmation tab choose either a message shown after submitting or a redirect to a URL you enter.
[pipeline_form id="123"]. The shortcode for each form is shown in the forms list.Forms submit with AJAX and also work without JavaScript.
Under Pipeline Forms → Entries you can filter by form and date, search the entries, open an entry to see its answers, delete entries one at a time or in bulk, and export CSV. The CSV export button appears when a single form is selected; it exports that form's complete entries that match the current search and dates, with the columns Entry ID, Date (UTC), Status, IP, Source URL and one column per field. Cells that start with =, +, - or @ are prefixed with an apostrophe so spreadsheets do not run them as formulas.
Deleting a form also deletes its entries.

Everything the plugin collects is stored in your WordPress database. It does not send submissions anywhere. This is what is stored and how long it stays:
| Data | Stored on your site | Sent to | How it is removed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entries | The answers to your form; the entry date; the visitor's IP address (if IP storage is on); the browser user agent (first 255 characters); the address of the page the form was on (only if it is on your own site); the WordPress user ID if the visitor was logged in, otherwise 0; a status; read and star flags; a record of the notification send attempt. | Nobody. The notification email goes to the addresses you set. | You delete entries under Entries, or delete the form. Entries are never deleted automatically; there is no retention period. |
| Rate-limit counter | A temporary counter under a hash of IP address and site salt, which expires after the rate-limit window. | Nobody | Expires by itself; also removed on uninstall. |
If you turn on a captcha, mention it in your own privacy policy (see External Services). Turn off IP storage under Settings if you do not want the IP address kept.
Deactivating or deleting the plugin keeps your forms and entries unless Delete all forms, entries and settings when the plugin is deleted was ticked under Settings before deleting. With that option ticked, deleting the plugin removes all forms, the entries and entry-meta tables and the settings. Temporary counters and the per-user notice flag are always removed on delete.
WordPress sends mail through your host's mail function, which is often unreliable. Install an SMTP plugin. Open the entry to see whether the send attempt succeeded.
The page may be cached for a long time. Reload the page and try again, or exclude the page from full-page caching.
The visitor submitted before the minimum time passed. Lower or remove the minimum under Settings.
Pipeline Forms does not contact any outside service on its own and does not track visitors. It makes no requests to 007aj.com. Links to 007aj.com in the admin screens only open when you click them.
